This Cookie Policy explains how Attic Cleaning San Francisco DBA AtticPros Inc. ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit atticcleaningsanfrancisco.com (the "Website"): what they are, why we use them, and how you can control them.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies set by the website owner are called first-party cookies; cookies set by anyone else are third-party cookies, which let those parties recognize your device on this and other websites.
Which Cookies This Website Uses
The Website has no accounts and no login, and sets no cookies of its own. It remembers your answer to the cookie banner in your browser's local storage, which is never sent to us.
Everything else is set by third parties through Google Tag Manager, and only after you accept cookies. The tag manager loads Google Analytics, which tells us which pages are read and where visitors arrive from, and Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) so we can improve them. Typically they set:
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors. | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics | Keeps the state of a visit. | 2 years |
| _clck | Microsoft Clarity | Remembers the visitor ID and preferences. | 1 year |
| _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Joins page views into one session recording. | 1 day |
| CLID | Microsoft Clarity | Identifies the first visit of a browser. | 1 year |
| MUID | Microsoft | Identifies a browser across Microsoft sites. | 1 year |
These providers decide the exact cookies they set and may change them. Your browser's developer tools always show what is stored for this site, and you can ask us at hello@atticprosinc.com.
Error Monitoring, Which Is Not a Cookie
To keep the Website working we use Sentry, an error-monitoring service. When something fails, it records technical information — the page involved, the error message and the stack trace. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so it runs whether or not you accept cookies. Our configuration disables personal data collection and strips IP and email addresses before an event is sent. See Sentry's privacy policy.
Our hosting and security infrastructure may set strictly necessary cookies to deliver pages and protect the Website from abuse.
How Can I Control Cookies?
When you first arrive, the Website asks a single question: whether to allow the cookies described above. Until you answer, no request is made to Google Tag Manager, so no tag can run and nothing is stored. It is one question rather than a choice per category because that is what we can honour: the Clarity tag does not read a per-category signal and runs whenever the tag manager loads.
You can reopen the choice at any time from the Cookie settings button on our Your Privacy Choices page, and change or withdraw it. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser:
You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's browser add-on, and read how Microsoft Clarity handles data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this policy when the cookies we use change, or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The date above shows when it was last updated.
